Beautiful Barbados ‘The Gem of the Caribbean’ plays host to the 2017 Caribbean Rum & Beer Festival.

Barbados is 166sq miles of golden beaches, turquoise sea and a capital city Bridgetown that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The history of Barbados is rich with an association with sugar, which in turn lead to a thriving rum industry. There are four distilleries on island, all of them producing unique, world class rum which is the envy of the world. If you get the time we strongly recommend you visit at least one of these distilleries during your stay.

The main brewery on the Barbados has been in existence for over 50 years and still turns out the islands most popular beer. In recent times a number of locally produced craft beers have been introduced into Barbados.

When you are in Barbados you just have to go visit the world famous Oistins Fish Fry on Friday night. Also try not to miss a trip to Harrison’s Cave in St Thomas.
